SEMPPR 1.0.2 – Stochastic Evolutionary Model of Protein Production Rates

SEMPPR 1.0.2

:: DESCRIPTION

SEMPPR is a model of a protein’s production rate. SEMPPR assumes that the evolution of codon bias is driven by selection to reduce the cost of nonsense errors and that this selection is counteracted by mutation and drift. Through the application of Bayes’ theorem, SEMPPR generates a posterior probability distribution for the protein production rate of a given gene.
