To beat Immune Defense, the player needs to know what proteins do, what receptors do, how cells respond to signals in the environment, how random events lead to predictable behaviors … Additionally, the player battles HIV, TB, Listeria, a Malaria-like organism and learns exactly how vaccination is helpful, why viruses are difficult to detect and why TB and AIDS are so difficult to overcome.
