QuickAlign 1.03

:: DESCRIPTION

QuickAlign was   a program for MacOS X and Classic MacOS designed to speed up editing of sequence alignments. It allows the simultaneous editing of many nucleotide or amino acid sequences using mouse functions and shortcuts, as well as automatic overlapping of sequence fragments, searching and sorting of sequences, and multiple alignment using ClustalX. Numerous additional features and the user interface are describedin the documentation

Base-By-Base – Genome Pairwise & Multiple Alignment Editor

Base-By-Base

:: DESCRIPTION

Base-By-Base is a whole genome pairwise and multiple alignment editor. The program highlights differences between pairs of alignments and allows the user to easily navigate large alignments of similar sequences. Although Base-By-Base was intended as an editor and viewer for alignments of highly similar sequences, it is also provides many of the functions of other generic alignment editors.
