eDens
:: DESCRIPTION
eDens analyzes an image of an electrophoretic gel and computes the distribution of fragment sizes in each lane. It is an R program that can take an electrophoretic gel image and predict the distribution of DNA lengths in each lane. It uses some sophisticated pre-processing to model and then subtract background illumination.
