Jack the Knife 1.0 – Estimate the Significance of Traits

Jack the Knife 1.0

:: DESCRIPTION

Jack the Knife is designed to read quantitative data collected from individuals within a known experimental design and provide estimates of the significance of (a) heritabilities of traits, and (b) correlations between traits, within and between experimental groups.Jack the Knife is a freeware stand-alone program that uses several non-parametric tests (random bootstrapping, random jackknifing, delete-one jackknifing, randomization) to calculate the significance of population-level parameters (broad- and narrow-sense heritability, correlation coefficients) for mutiple nested experimental designs (clonal, half-sib) within and among experimental data sets.
